Here at Pohara TOP 10, we love to support our local community and promote community participation!

As a business we are happy to participate in community events and currently support a number of local businesses and activities.

For example:

• We try to focus as much as possible on supporting local and small/medium businesses. This includes using local suppliers and businesses for the Holiday Park wherever possible.
• We actively sponsor the community and events – examples of this recently include The Pohara Bowling Club, Various fishing competitions and the recent NBS dancing for a cause which raised funds for the Nelson Hospice.
• We actively direct our clientele to other Tourism based operators from the Spit Tours, Anatoki Salmon Farm, Golden Bay Air, Golden Bay Kayaks, Abel Tasman Aqua Taxi, Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle, Hack n Stay horse tours, Mussel Inn, Wholemeal Café, Roots Bar, O’Sha, Kiwi Distilliery, Molly B’s, Ratanui Lodge and Nikau Café and Bar and many more.
• We actively advertise and support our local community through advertising in the iSites, on site brochures promoting local businesses and more.
• We actively sponsor local schools and kindergartens.
• We are proud supporters of the Mohua Penguin Trust.
• We are proud supporters of the Predator Free NZ 2050 initiative
